TAK (parent company of Lamitak) threw an exclusive party in Bangkok recently for 1,800 guests, in an highly-anticipated annual event that rewards our valued business partners in Southeast Asia. In addition to our collaborators in Bangkok, we also flew in 200 Singapore and 100 Malaysia customers for a three day two night trip in the Land of Smiles, hosting them at the Centara Grand at CentralWorld.

Step Out with Lamitak: The Bangkok Party 2019 was held at the Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, which for one night was turned into an engaging showcase of Lamitak’s products as well as an exciting concert venue for some of Thailand’s best known musicians.

Guests were first ushered into the Gallery Space within the cavernous hall, which features all of Lamitak’s 46 newest laminate designs mounted on standing panels. The inspirational quotes emblazoned on the panels echo Lamitak’s enduring ethos of finding inspiration through travel and wanderlust. Many, not surprisingly, gravitated towards these quotes for photo-taking opportunities!

As a live three-piece band played in the background, our guests dined on canapes and many left their well-wishes on the Lamitak brand wall. A speech by Mr Andrew Tan and Ms Geraldine Tan, respectively the founder and chairman of TAK and the director of business development of TAK followed; TAK being the parent company of Lamitak. After a commemorative group photo with 300 of our overseas guests was taken – that’s when the party really started.

Emcees for the evening, local personalities DJ Poom and Beauty, presided over the evening’s exciting line-up of entertainment, which included stage games and performances by top musical acts. The crowd was up on their feet at the end of the evening, thanks to the rousing closing act by Thailand’s number one band, Bodyslam.

Thai personalities Beauty and DJ Poom were the emcees for the night.

Local group Indiwedo Acapella was the opening act.

Charismatic lead singer Athiwara “Toon” Khongmalai of Thailand’s top band Bodyslam had the crowd up on their feet and cheering.  

The program for our overseas guests continued the following day, on an organised visit to SPAC3, Lamitak’s stylish city showroom in the Sukumvit area. SPAC3 presents numerous laminate application ideas in lifestyle settings modelled after various spaces in a home, such as the living room, kitchen, and walk-in wardrobe. It certainly provided much inspiration to the more than 70 guests who visited the showroom, to take home.
